BASIC COURTROOM TESTIMONY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL (16 HOURS)
course will give new law enforcement personnel the basics to understand the court system, and what are the proper procedures
and protocols for courtroom testimony. New Police Officers, CSA’s, PSA’s, and Code Enforcement Officers. This
class will include a moot court.
Basic Courtroom Testimony for Law Enforcement Personnel
( 8 hours)
This 8 hour classroom seminar, will give the officers information on preparation,
what to do or not to do on the stand, and an understanding of the procedures.
BASIC REPORT WRITING (8 HOURS)
the correct procedures for the completion of a well written police report. Topics covered: types of reports, what a
report should contain, and the 5 requirements of a good report.
Oral Boards for Promotion
or Assignment Change ( 8 hours)
This class will provide the officers with a basic understanding
of the various types of oral boards and the process. The officers attending will be exposed to many possible questions
and how to properly respond. We will also discuss generic processes that the officers must be prepared for on the day
of the interview.
Mid Management 3 day seminars ( 24 hours)
can take any combinations of seminars, and make them into a 24 hour class. The 24 hours will cover many aspects of management
procedures, as well as methods to produce a better supervision style. The officers attending will be introduced
to methods of working with their peers as well as the officers assigned their units.
Management 2 day seminar ( 16 hours)
Take 16 hour of classes and make them into a two day seminar.
Example: Supervision 8 hours, and Evaluations 4 hours, and
Conflict Resolutions 4 hours.
